At this event, our speakers will explore the various ways in which data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning can help personalise and improve learning experiences for individuals. Presentations will be followed by Q&A and discussion.

Reinventing learning for the new normal.

We are a group of entrepreneurs, data scientists, technologists and other enthusiasts whose vision is to improve lifetime learning and learning at work, at a time of constant change. We believe in the power of intelligent technologies such as machine learning and data science, while insisting that solutions must serve human needs.

Our events will be about technologies, trends and solutions, with opportunities to learn from experts, and to network and build community with others working towards the same goals.

Neurodiversity At Work aims to bring together business and neurodiverse talent from every walk of life to create better businesses that employ, engage and support their neurodiverse staff, creating better led, more productive and happier workplaces for all.

Join us at this symposium to explore and promote how we are collaborating with industry, academia and the many groups and organisations working in this area to ensure that neurodiverse-talented people are actively and better engaged in business and society.

We aim to have every staff handbook to include a section on Neurodiversity such that everybody in every organisation can be better engaged with their neurodiverse colleagues, more neurodiverse people can be employed in fruitful, rewarding and well-suited roles for the neurodiverse talents held, such that companies can be better led with a fully-engaged and diverse workforce.

We are operating this on a sponsored, not-for-profit basis but we have to cover costs; there are tickets for all. Neurodiverse and unwaged – attend the symposium for free!
We have an extensive programme presented by business leaders, leading academics, and neurodiverse-talented people from business, the arts and media worlds.

The Ethical and Spiritual Development Panel and the Government Panel of the Worshipful Company of Information Technologists, together with the Real Time Club, are sponsoring a Debate on the topical motion “Technology is the Enemy of Democracy”.

Refreshments with wine, soft drinks and canapés will be served from 1800. The debate will start at 1900.

Lord Dyson QC, former Master of the Rolls has kindly agreed to chair the debate.

Proposed by Jamie Bartlett, of Demos, author of The People Vs Tech: How the internet is killing democracy (and how we save it).

Seconded by Matthew Lavy, Barrister specialising in information technology, of 4 Pump Court chambers.

Against the motion

Opposed by Nigel Crook, Professor of Ethical AI and Robotics, Oxford Brookes University.

Seconded by Graham Taylor, Chairman of Open Forum Europe.

There will be two speakers for the motion and two against, followed by speeches and questions from the floor. The Opposer and Proposer will sum-up and the debate will be gauged by a show of hands.
